If you know of someone who doesn't have access to a computer, or has to share it with other family members, why don't you suggest some of these activities for learning English which don't need any digital equipment.

Good morning everyone,
Please remember to do your Milton exercises on line and also you need to sign into Cambridge with the code I sent your parents. First of all you sign in with the Book Codes and then you will be asked for the Class Code. That means you'll be able to access the Science books on line with all the activities, documentaries activities and songs that we see in class. I shall also be able to monitor your work.
Ok, bye for now

Today you need to send me your assignments. You can send them by email to the 6th year email or keep them at home for correction when we come back to school.
If you have any problems please ask me on the class wall. Bye for now.

Good morning everybody!
How are you doing? Today I'm going to put some videos on the blog for science. One is extra work but in the mail we'll be sending to your parents it tells you what you need to do.
Here is an example of the Father's Day card and two geometric Meninas. See if you can guess whose they are!

I'm also going to put a video for the Art class of next week, which is to make a Van Gogh chair. There is a template but if you want a challenge you can try to design your own. Those who want to can send their photos of artwork in the email we use to communicate with your parents. If not, then when we go back you can bring them to me physically.
Anyway, bye for now

Good morning!
I hope you're up and about getting ready or already studying. You know that I can check up on you in the platform because I can see everything you do there. Please make sure you take a photo of your Father's Day card or keep it so that when we come back I can include it in the third evaluation. Watch any films you see in English. Today we'll be sending the work for this week until next Wednesday to your parents.
Anyway, I'm going to continue preparing things for you to do.
Bye for now

Learn/Practice English with MOVIES (Lesson #2) Title: The Lord of the Rings

Why don't you watch this excerpt from The Lord of the Rings instead of having a snooze after lunch?

Here is a copy of the photocopy I gave you last week about Phrasal Verbs, because the one I gave you wasn't very clear but we didn't have time to do any more. I hope you can understand it now.

And here, the Simpsons explain 10 phrasal verbs in their own special way. Click on the picture to go to the explanation.

Good morning everybody,
As it's rainy and cold today, and we're going to be at home all day anyway, maybe you could look into the possibility of making an extra special Father's Day present for Thursday, because in Spain it's Father's Day on 19th March.
Look around at home and see if there's anything you can use that Mum doesn't need, so that you can make that special present. Click here to go to a web page there are lots of ideas. Maybe you'll find one that you like and you can make it together with other family members. Maybe you could even get up early on Thursday and decorate the house with Father's Day decorations.  Remember to take photos and you could include them in your diary.
I'm really looking forward to seeing all your ideas...and I think your Dads are going to get more presents than ever!

Monday, 16 March 2020

Good morning everyone!
I hope that you're getting your jobs done because on Thursday we're going to send you more! Hopefully now the weather will be cooler and it will be easier to stay inside.
Remember to write your diary every day so that when we come back you'll be able to show them to everybody. Decorate them too with doodles, drawings, lettering etc.
If you have any problems with the exercises in Milton or Science then tell me on the Classwall.
Ok, I'm going to prepare some more work for you for the next unit. Bye for now...

Friday, 13 March 2020

Good morning everybody,
Hope everyone is getting on with their tasks. Try not to stay in bed too long and keep to normal timetables because otherwise your work is going to accumulate.
Today I'm going to send the answers to the Science worksheets to your parents. I think they were just copying information from the book so you shouldn't have too many problems.
Well, the Corona virus has saved you from the Science exam which should have been today. We're going to prepare a mini test for you to do next week and we'll also send you some revision sheets.
The next post on the blog are some concept maps in English and Spanish for this unit so you can copy them to help you study.
If you have spare time you can go to the CDI page in the blog to do the Science/English exams or the page to practise for PET/KET.
Remember you also have the Trainer in Milton to practise grammar.
Anyway, remember to write your diary too.
Ask me any questions on the Milton wall or in comments here, ok?

Menina Geométrica

Here is the Geometric Menina video which you can watch in order to get an idea of how to create your Menina. Remember your Menina will be on paper and you need to use your compass to draw the form.

And here are some examples of work from a previous year:

How to Make a DIY Father’s Day Magic Card - paper crafts for kids

Don't let your Daddy see this video before Father's Day!

Where is everybody? Are you all still asleep? Come on, get out of bed and start writing comments!
Good morning everyone!
How are you all? I hope you were working hard yesterday. My advice is not to do everything at once. Do a little every day so that it doesn't accumulate. Here is a page which might help you with Matter - I showed it to my class but didn't get round to showing all of you. Click on the picture to go to it!

I think you need to have Flash installed on your computer.

Remember to write your diary at the end of each day. You can decorate them and when we get back to school we can put them on display.

I found this video for those of you who are chewing gum all day...
