Do you remember how big it was?
In Social Science we have been learning about contemporary history and Guernica was mentioned but do you really understand what it symbolises?
Next week you are going to produce your own A4 version of Guernica in Art, but before you do that you need to take a look at these videos. The first one explains the symbolism that Picasso included in his work of art:

Good morning everybody,
As it's rainy and cold today, and we're going to be at home all day anyway, maybe you could look into the possibility of making an extra special Father's Day present for Thursday, because in Spain it's Father's Day on 19th March.
Look around at home and see if there's anything you can use that Mum doesn't need, so that you can make that special present. Click here to go to a web page there are lots of ideas. Maybe you'll find one that you like and you can make it together with other family members. Maybe you could even get up early on Thursday and decorate the house with Father's Day decorations.  Remember to take photos and you could include them in your diary.
I'm really looking forward to seeing all your ideas...and I think your Dads are going to get more presents than ever!

Monday 16 March 2020

Good morning everyone!
I hope that you're getting your jobs done because on Thursday we're going to send you more! Hopefully now the weather will be cooler and it will be easier to stay inside.
Remember to write your diary every day so that when we come back you'll be able to show them to everybody. Decorate them too with doodles, drawings, lettering etc.
If you have any problems with the exercises in Milton or Science then tell me on the Classwall.
Ok, I'm going to prepare some more work for you for the next unit. Bye for now...

Friday 13 March 2020

Good morning everybody,
Hope everyone is getting on with their tasks. Try not to stay in bed too long and keep to normal timetables because otherwise your work is going to accumulate.
Today I'm going to send the answers to the Science worksheets to your parents. I think they were just copying information from the book so you shouldn't have too many problems.
Well, the Corona virus has saved you from the Science exam which should have been today. We're going to prepare a mini test for you to do next week and we'll also send you some revision sheets.
The next post on the blog are some concept maps in English and Spanish for this unit so you can copy them to help you study.
If you have spare time you can go to the CDI page in the blog to do the Science/English exams or the page to practise for PET/KET.
Remember you also have the Trainer in Milton to practise grammar.
Anyway, remember to write your diary too.
Ask me any questions on the Milton wall or in comments here, ok?
