Respiratory System
Here are some videos for my 6th year students studying science in English. We are just about to start Unit 2 which is about Breathing and Circulation. I know it seems really difficult, but if you watch this video it will make it easier for you to understand!

wall murals
Here are some examples of wall murals you can do to encourage children to read. The first one is for 'Around the World in 80 days', which we read in Year 5
The second two are for Tom Sawyer and Five Canterbury Tales, which we read in Year 6.
With 'Around the World in 80 Days' I asked the children to draw their favourite comic strip from the book and we put them on display.
With 'Tom Sawyer' I asked them to think of adjectives to describe his character which we then displayed next to a life size picture of him.
Finally with 'Five Canterbury Tales' we drew the characters and coloured them in with labels so that it was easier to remember who each one was.

25th Anniversary CEIP Pablo Picasso
Yesterday we celebrated the 25th anniversary in the CEIP Pablo Picasso in Mejorada del Campo. There were lots of tears from teachers who have been teaching there for over twenty years, as well as students who are now parents who take their children there.
I've only been there for one school year, and probably won't be there next year, so shed a few tears as well.
On occasions like this as teachers everything seems worthwhile: all the late nights correcting exams, looking for ideas in Internet, sleepless nights when problems arise etc etc.
Happy birthday CEIP Pablo Picasso, and I hope to be around when you celebrate the next 25 years!

Shakespeare's Sonnet (103)
My mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun;
Coral is far more red than her lips' red;
If snow be white, why then her breasts are dun;
If hairs be wires, black wires grow on her head.
I have seen roses damask'd, red and white,
But no such roses see I in her cheeks;
And in some perfumes is there more delight
Than in the breath that from my mistress reeks.
I love to hear her speak, yet well I know
That music hath a far more pleasing sound;
I grant I never saw a goddess go;
My mistress, when she walks, treads on the ground.
And yet, by heaven, I think my love as rare
As any she belied with false compare.
